What is baptism?

Why should I get baptized?
Baptism is...
- Your public shout-out to show you're all in with Jesus. (Matthew 28:19-20)
- Publicly declaring that Jesus saved you by grace, and you've put your faith in Him. (Ephesians 2:8-9)
- An outward expression to celebrate how Jesus has been changing your life. (1 Corinthians 6:11)
- Aligning yourself with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. (Romans 6:1-4)
- A natural act reflecting the spiritual work Jesus has begun in your life. (1 Corinthians 5:17)
Remember, baptism doesn't save you; it shows that you already believe. You also don't need to be a perfect Christian to be baptized.

Why is full immersion in water important for baptism?
